Rita Peterson (White Earth Nation) is the president and proprietor of Caribou Thunder, LCC (dba CTL  Resources), a Native American owned procurement Services Company specializing in engineering, cyber security, metrology, and IT services. She recruits STEM professionals, especially Native Americans and other underrepresented groups, for major corporations and federal agencies that help protect American interests and security. Their corporate office is located in Hayward, WI, with branch offices in Minneapolis, San Diego, CA and Arlington, VA. CTL Resources provide maximum benefit to their customers in a timely fashion at competitive prices, while creating career opportunities in economically distressed communities. In 2012, CTL Resources was selected as one of the "Top Business" by DiversityBusiness.com.

Rita is descended from members of the White Earth Nation, Minnesota's largest Anishinaabe reservation. She has close ties to her Native American heritage and cultural practices. She is the proud mother of two children and soon to be grandmother.
