On Monday November 15th the MS2 USS Supplier Diversity Program celebrated Native American Heritage Day by showcasing Caribou Thunder (CTL), a Woman Owed, Veteran Owned, Small Disadvantaged, Native American, Hubzone small business and active Lockheed Martin supplier.

Lockheed Martin's Supplier Diversity Program got a chance to introduce employees to Caribou Thunder's President and CEO, Rita Peterson. Caribou Thunder is a prime example of the excellent opportunities that can be found in utilizing Native American small businesses. Lockheed Martin receives a 5% rebate on any DoD program which utilizes Native American Small Businesses.

Ms. Peterson (pictured) brought many Native American artifacts from her national tribe and showcased Caribou Thunder's capabilities, which include Engineering & Procurement Services. Those who stopped by to chat with Rita also received a colorful arrowhead Indian pendent.
